    Ages: 15+ and Adults

Steven Moore is Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado and a co-founder of Diapason. Steven’s work has mainly focused on supporting adults who have experienced trauma, including more complex forms, such as attachment trauma. A graduate of Naropa University's Somatic Counseling graduate program, Steven has also completed advanced training in both EMDR and Brainspotting, which he has blended with parts work and other modalities so that he can tailor his interventions for each individual client.

Steven has a daughter who is autistic, has ADHD, and has a Persistent Desire for Autonomy (PDA) profile. Steven himself is a latecomer in understanding that he is also autistic with ADHD traits and a PDA profile. These revelations has spurred Steven to seek a greater understanding of neurodiversity, which has helped shift his understanding of trauma through the lens of neurodiversity as well. This insight is reshaping and enhancing how Steven continues to find more harmony in his own life. And it has also shaped how he supports others through their trauma recovery as well as their own self-discovery through an affirming lens of neurodiversity.
