Can you describe your approach to therapy and the specific modalities you use?
I strive to help people live authentically by helping with building and making meaning of experiences across all facets of life. I invite vulnerability, curiosity, and creativity into the therapy space for us to explore what matters and why. This often involves unpacking mental boxes that have been gathering dust for a long time. Other times, it involves stepping into unfamiliar territory and building the right amount of courage to do so. As we are all unique individuals, I find it important to utilize an integrative approach to treatment in that we will engage various types of tools, strategies, interventions, ideas, and activities in order to reach your goals. When thinking of commonly-used acronyms you might come across, some of the modalities I use include ACT, DBT, and EMDR. All of this applies to my approach to therapeutic assessment and evaluation as well!
